Question by raymondd7: “Get your FREE 52″ Plasma TV”- Are these offers real or scams?
I always see these “FREE” offers for great products like computers, TV’s, ipods, etc. on the internet. Do these offers really work and do you really get the item that is being advertised? Are there reputable sites that truly will work for the “FREE” product?

Ok in 8th grade my class did a project where we answered over 5756 of these from all over the web and 3192 were flat out scams, the rest needed you to spend money to get the prize and the money you would spend was always way more then the prize was worth

all of those adds like that are pretty much scams. What it is they have you do some kind of survey about differnt things. then at the end they usually say something like..You have to sign up for 2 of the following things in order to get this. there will be stuff like credit cards, you have to actually sign up for it, get accepted and use it for the first time. then there are things like movie clubs and book clubs just differnt things and that is where they get their money…because all those little things they make you sign up for…is going to cost you in some sort of way.
so its usually all just useless bull crap.

Well… Not all them are scams, many actually work. Many don’t. I like the guy who made up all those numbers about an 8th grade project… Yeah OKAY… True many are scams. True many make you send money and then you win a prize… But SOME do work, just a matter of LUCK lol
